Chile - September 17, 2019

Chile will celebrate patriotic holidays on September 18, 19 and 20, 2019.  Customs will be closed on September 18 and 19 and no shipments will be cleared.  On September 20, shipments can be received, but will not be cleared until Monday, September 23, 2019.

Mexico - September 17, 2019

Monday, September 16, 2019 is a public holiday in Mexico and therefore no clearances or mail and package deliveries will be made.

United States - September 3, 2019

As reported by the USPS, Hurricane Dorian is bringing high winds and heavy rain to the southeast coast of Florida, and is also expected to impact Georgia, the Carolinas, and southeast Virginia over the coming days. Hong Kong - June 14, 2019

The designated operator of Hong Kong, China, Hongkong Post, owing to a public event resulting in a blockage of streets in major areas of Hong Kong on  June 12, 2019, the night- and daytime processing of all inbound, outbound and local mail was seriously affected. Quality of service for all types of inbound and outbound mail (EMS, parcels and letter mail) has therefore been affected. The impact is expected to last for a few days.

Israel - May 14, 2019

Further to EmIS message May 6, 2019, the designated operator of Israel, Israel Postal Company, would like to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that all postal operations are now back to normal.

Israel - May 7, 2019

The designated operator of Israel, Israel Postal Company, asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, due to the security situation, there have been interruptions and delays in the distribution and collection of mail (letter post, parcels and EMS) in the south of Israel since Saturday, May 4, 2019.

Guatemala - April 29, 2019

After a two-year hiatus, effective April 6, 2019, Guatemala’s designated postal operator, Correos y Telégrafos, is now accepting inbound international mail.  For more information CLICK to view the Postal Bulletin (4-25-19) announcing the resumption of USPS services to Guatemala.


Asia - April 26, 2019

Although timing can differ by a month or so depending on the location in Southeast Asia, the Southwest Monsoon typically begins around early June and ends in late September. Thailand is especially affected by this pattern where the rainy season typically runs between May and October. Depending on the severity of the weather, local deliveries in monsoon-affected areas may be impacted during this season.

Philippines - April 25, 2019

A 6.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in Castillejos, Zambaleson on April 22, 2019.
All postal operations are suspended in Metro Manila and Pampanga provinces since Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Damage sustained in the following areas of Pampanga province may cause delays to postal services: Lubao and Porac.

Japan - April 25, 2019

April 29 and May 3 to 6, 2019 are National and public holidays in Japan, called “Golden Week.”
As the OEs and Custom Offices in Japan will not be closed during this period we do not expect any negative impact on our inbound and outbound operations for EMS items and parcels (we deliver EMS items and parcels 7 days a week including holidays in Japan.)
